This reminds me of the famous poem that Jim McKay, the Late Olympic Coverage Veteran, read at the closing ceremony of the 1972 Munich Summer Olympics, the Olympics that was marred by terrorism with the death of the Israeli team.

38 Years later, an Athlete died at the morning of the Opening Ceremony of the Games of the XXI Olympiad, the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games.
